Hi. I’m Jeff Putnam. But my friends call me Jeff. That’s a lie. My friends call me Jefe, or Putnam, or Putz, or Hey You!
I am a 20-something (that’s all your getting out of me!) professional web designer and front-end developer. I’ve been at this now for about 8 years, 4(ish) with my current company, Invexi.
I live and work in Phoenix, AZ. I’ve lived here for the past 10 years. I spent my childhood and adolescent years in rural Minnesota about 50 miles north of Minneapolis. So I’m a bit of a small-town guy, but I’d like to think I’ve adapted well to the urban sprawl that is Phoenix. The key is to just never step foot outside in the summer. Easy right?
I’ve had a lot of hobbies and interests in my lifetime but only a few have really stuck. I love baseball. During the offseason I don’t know what to do with myself. I’m a Minnesota Twins fan, born and raised. I stuck with them in the late 90’s when they sucked, loved the 2000’s when they were good, and now… well, I still watch. Even if it is through my fingers and with a cringe on my face. I like the Diamondbacks too but the Twins will always be my number one team.
I’ve been playing guitar since I was 15 or so. Now, that doesn’t mean I’m any good. It just means I’m persistent. And tolerant of loud noises. I like to play the same things that I like to listen to, which can be a bit of a problem seeing as my tastes are wide ranging. I like everything from Mumford and Sons to Chevelle to NoFX. I love going to concerts as well.
